What this includes. Site prep with plastic over your siding, 6 to 8 inches of compacted gravel base, ½-inch rebar at 24 inches on center pulled up into the slab as the concrete goes in, 4 to 5 inches of concrete with the finish you picked, control joints tooled into the slab (or saw-cut, if you pick them), and a surface pitched away from your foundation. After it cures we come back and seal it, and the sealing is included in the price. Forms come out, dirt goes back to the edge, and we lay a sod border so the patio meets finished lawn. Utilities are located through Dig-Rite before we dig, and the work carries our one-year Concrete Flatwork Limited Warranty. This price is for the patio exactly as you built it here. We confirm the measurements on site before you sign, and if the size or the site is different from what was entered, we show you the change in writing first.
