Steps
Each step adds 4 sq ft. Not sure? A deck sitting about 3′ off the ground usually runs 4 to 5 steps.
Linear feet of railing. We prefill this from your deck size assuming the house takes one long side — change it if that is not your layout.
Drink rail
Linear feet of drink rail — often just one or two runs rather than the whole perimeter. Includes the cap board, material, labor, and mitered 45° end cuts.
Tear-out of an existing deck
Square feet of the deck coming out. Includes demolition, hauling it away, and removing the old concrete footings — the part most tear-out quotes leave for you to deal with.

OUR DECKS COME WITH A 1 TO 3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON LABOR AND MATERIALS – one year on pressure-treated, three years on composite with aluminum railing.
