What we build
Deck types & services
Every material we install, plus the details that make a deck usable after dark and safe around a pool.
TimberTech Composite Decks
Every TimberTech collection, warranty terms, approved fasteners and cleaning rules — the honest version, including where composite gets hot.
Cedar Decking
Natural beauty, warm tone and proven performance in Missouri weather. What cedar costs, how it ages, and how to keep it looking right.
Wood Decking
Traditional pressure-treated and cedar decks. The lowest-cost route to a well-built deck, and what that trade-off actually means over 15 years.
Pool Decks
Slip-resistant, heat-resistant surfaces built to St. Louis County pool-barrier code, with the inspection included.
Deck Lighting
Post caps, riser lights and railing lights — installed during the build so the wiring is hidden and the deck works after sunset.
Covered Decks & Pergolas
Louvered pergolas, motorized screens and covered structures that make the deck usable in August and October.
Before you decide
What to know before you spend $30,000 on a deck
The guides we wish every homeowner read before calling anyone. Written from jobs we've actually built and problems we've actually fixed.
Composite vs. Wood
The honest comparison: maintenance, heat, warranty and cost. Composite isn't always the answer.
Our Build Process
What actually happens when you hire us: site visit, permit wait, footings, inspections, and how long each stage takes.
Composite Heat Test
We put a thermometer on every board we sell in July sun. Here's what actually gets too hot to walk on.
Summer Heat & Grilling
Which colors stay cooler, what a hot grill does to composite, and how to lay out a deck for a Missouri summer.
How to Make Your Deck Last 30 Years
Power wash yearly, stain every 3-5 years, use the right stain. What actually causes premature failure and how to avoid it.
Hidden Damages
Ledger board failure, rotted joists, improper flashing — the things you can't see from the top and what they cost to fix.
Carpenter Bees & Ants
How to tell them apart, what damage each does to a wood deck, and when it's a repair versus a rebuild.
Private Deck Inspections
Buying a house with a deck, or worried about the one you have? We'll inspect it and give you a written report.
Price your deck in about a minute
Six questions, a real price at the end. Permits, plans, materials, labor and concrete footings included.
Why Maniaci
The crew that measures your yard is the crew that builds in it
Our own carpenters build every deck, and that's the reason the quality stays consistent from job to job. The people who walk your property on day one are the same people you'll see every morning until the last board is down.
We draw the plans, we pull the permits, and we hand you a written scope line by line before anything is ordered — so the number you agree to is the number you pay.
Ready to elevate your backyard?
Get your price in about a minute, or have us come measure. Either way, there's no pitch on the other end.
