Deck Revamps

If the frame under your deck is still solid but the boards are worn, splintered or faded, you don’t need a whole new deck. We tear off the old boards and railing and give you a brand-new deck surface on the structure you already have.

Recent revamp: before and after

Same frame, new deck surface and railing. Second-story deck, existing frame kept.

What a revamp includes

  • Tear-off and haul-away of the old decking and railing
  • A close look at every joist, beam, ledger and post before anything new goes on
  • New decking: TimberTech composite or pressure-treated wood
  • New railing: wood, black or white aluminum, or white vinyl
  • New fascia, stair treads and risers to match
  • Full cleanup when we’re done

Is your deck a good fit?

Good fit

The framing is solid, the ledger is bolted and flashed, the posts and footings are sound, and the deck is the size and shape you want.

Not a good fit

Rotted joists, a failing ledger, posts sitting on dirt or a deck that sways. We’ll tell you straight and price the repair or rebuild instead.

We check the frame first, every time. New boards on a bad frame is money wasted, so we won’t sell you a revamp your deck can’t carry.

How it works

  1. We look at your deck and check the frame.
  2. You get a written scope and price.
  3. We tear off the old boards and railing.
  4. We fix anything the frame needs, with your OK first.
  5. New decking, railing, fascia and stairs go on.
  6. Final walk-through and cleanup.
